After School Program - Home

We offer after-school programs at Dena Boer Elementary, Mildred Perkins Elementary, Sisk Elementary, and Salida Elementary for students TK - 5th grade and at Salida Middle School for students 6th - 8th grade. The ASP program is designed as an educational and enrichment program that is an extension of the regular school day. We operate every day school is in session and begin immediately following dismissal (including early dismissal days) until 6:00 pm. Each child enrolled will have a designated hour for academics and homework support, be provided with supper and a snack, and participate in enriching recreational activities such as: science, physical education, arts & crafts, developmental and or social practices, as well as extended study hall if needed, on an individual basis.

Enrollment:  All interested families must fully complete and submit the necessary forms and adhere to the program policies to guarantee enrollment. Registration in the program is on a priority basis with priority given to students who are foster youth, homeless youth, students who receive free or reduced lunch based on family income, and students who are designated as English Language learners. **Any applications received after the program is at capacity, will be placed on a waitlist. The After School Program Supervisor will contact parents or guardians when space for their student becomes available.

Attendance: To receive continued funding for the ASES Grant — After School Program or the ASPIRE Middle School Grant, students (grades K-8) must commit to attending the program every day for a minimum of 15 hours per week.

Program Fee: There is no fee for the After School Program for the 2024-2025 School Year!  However, all students attending must commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week or 3 hours per day.

We look forward to having your student participate in the After School Program!
